Date in your diary

We’re always busiest, as you can imagine, during the autumn and winter months; from about mid-August through to February, our appointment book is rather busy. And, if we find any problems that need rectifying with your chimney, pots or stove, it can often be a juggling act to get any remedial work completed and delays in getting your fire or woodburner up and running.

When you have finished having fires, the Spring/early Summer is an ideal time to get the chimney swept. Many insurance companies now request thatched properties are swept in the summer months (1st May to 1st September) for insurance to be valid.

So make a note in your diary to book us during the Spring or Summer, when things are quieter, and we can make sure that you’re all set up for the winter months.
